St Catherine's Hospice is fortunate to have a variety of meeting rooms available for hire by external organisations and visitors. It is a new income stream that we are working hard to develop and to make the most of the resources we have.
All guests are warmly greeted into our newly refurbished reception area and our rooms are fitted with the latest IT equipment to ensure your event runs smoothly.

St Catherine’s is a large organisation and we have three rooms available to hire at any time of the week, weekend or evening. Funding has been competed for and won over the past five years to transform and modernise the building with £3 million pounds worth of investment. Conference facilities are on a separate side of the building to our patient care work and can be used flexibly to suit meetings and events of all shapes and sizes plus, our staff are always on hand to help your event run without a hitch.
We are ideally situated in the heart of central Lancashire with easy access to the M6, M61 and M65. Manchester is just 45 minutes away, Liverpool 50 minutes and Preston city centre is only a 15 minute drive. We have ample free parking and there are good rail and bus links to and from Preston City Centre. Directions.
St Catherine’s is a centre of excellence for palliative care which means we invest in the best quality equipment possible and our staff work round the clock to improve the quality of life of people with life limiting illnesses. We are a not-for-profit organisation so any money we make is ploughed straight back into patient care. It’s a positive place to spend time and is set in beautiful surroundings – 10 acres of gardens with luxury lawns, colourful borders, mature trees, wooded areas, secluded spots and a rich variety of wildlife.

This is our largest room, situated on the ground floor with direct access to the gardens.

Can also be used flexibly as a board room, class room style or for groups around large tables.
Facilities: computer, internet access, video and teleconferencing, flip chart, DVD, a PA system and three high definition projectors placed around the room. A hearing loop is also installed.
