By Bus

There is no local bus service directly to the Hospice.  The nearest regular services run via Lostock Hall on the B5254 and stop near the roundabout at the A582 (Lostock Lane) from which it is a half mile walk along lostock Lane to St Catherine's.  Bus services to this stop are:

By Road

From M6 - Travelling South

Leave M6 at junction 29 (first junction after M61) signposted "M65/A6".  At the top of the slip road, turn right at the roundabout onto the A6 towards "Bamber Bridge/Preston".  Remain on the A6 and go through the traffic lights at Sainsbury's and B & Q to a large roundabout (approx. 0.75 miles from the M6) and take the second exit (straight Ahead) onto the A582 for "Leyland".  Stay on the dual carriageway to the next roundabout, and following the signs for "St Catherine's Hospice" double back at this roundabout and return on the opposite side of the carriageway for approx. 0.3 miles.  This is Lostock Lane and the signposted entrance to the Hospice is on the left.

From M6 - Travelling North

Leave M6 at junction 29 and take M65 signposted "Preston South".  Remain on the M65 westbound to the end of the motorway(approx 0.9 miles) and follow the slip road round to a large roundabout.  Take the first exit onto the A582 for "Leyland". Stay on the dual carriageway to the next roundabout, and following the signs for "St Catherine's Hospice" double back at this roundabout and return on the opposite side of the carriageway for approx. 0.3 miles.  This is Lostock Lane and the signposted entrance to the Hospice is on the left.
