This year will be the 6th Moonlight Walk and we wanted to let you know about our special plans for 2012 to tie in with Preston Guild year.
Every year we receive many requests from walkers for their partners to accompany them on the Moonlight Walk. The walk has always been a ladies only event and men, although participating with stewarding etc, have not been allowed to register and take part.
To coincide with Preston Guild, we have decided that for one year only, lady walkers will be able to invite male guests. This will be a “Once Every Preston Guild” opportunity for men to show their support by walking on the Moonlight Walk and experiencing the event for themselves.
We have also listened to feedback from supporters who want a shorter walk and therefore next year there will be an option of the 13.1 mile half marathon or a shorter route of 8.4 miles, giving everyone of all abilities the opportunity to take part in the event.
This year's Moonlight Walk T shirts have been generously sponsored by Dewhurst Homes.
To book your place fill out the form below and pay online straight away. You need to fill out the form for each person if you are booking for other people. Just press 'book this event' the ticket will be added to your basket and then just return to shopping to add your friends.
Registration is £16. This includes administration, T shirt and your breakfast at the end of the walk.
