St Catherine’s Annual Plant Sale is going to be bigger and better than ever before! The Plant Sale is on Saturday 28th April 10.00am – 3.00pm and this year it will be held in a marquee in the beautiful surroundings of the hospice garden.

This year Bill Blackledge will be attending the Plant Sale, Bill Blackledge is one of the counties most popular and sought after gardeners. If it's green and needs watering, Bill can tell you about it. He has been answering BBC Radio Lancashire listeners' queries for over thirty years. And is now the Chairman of North West in Bloom.

Bill has very kindly offered to come along and answer your plant and gardening queries, he will also be doing hanging basket demonstrations between 11.00am and 2pm. As our special guest, Bill will be drawing the raffle at 2.30pm on the day.

As well as huge range of quality plants on offer; you will be able to buy all your garden essentials from your wellies to your watering cans! On the day we will also have to offer a tasty selection of homemade cakes, sausage roll’s, pies and pastry’s……… Teas and Coffees will also be available.

Duxburys have very kindly sponsored this year’s Plant Sale and on the day they will be around to give helpful advice and answer any of your garden questions!  They will also be offering a fantastic free prize draw with the chance to win a garden makeover to the value of £500.00.

Wilkinson’s Florist will also be there demonstrating small flower arrangements and giving free advice and tips!

On the day there will be lots of extra’s to keep all the family entertained, for the kids Ronald McDonald’s little helpers will be coming along and offering Free face painting, free to enter colouring competitions there will also be a very special guest appearance from Preston North Ends very own Deepdale Duck!
