Corporate Volunteering

Throughout the year local businesses give their employees time to support local charities like ourselves.

There have been a number of groups attended so far, these include:

The Big Challenge/Challenge Network

Tasks that are carried out;

Painting
Weeding and digging
Planting bulbs
Setting up events
Assisting at mail shots
Building walls

Companies can contact the Hospice and arrange for a group of employees to volunteer their time. We are always grateful to have support from our local businesses and after agreeing suitable tasks, away they go! Lunch is provided for our volunteers

Just wanted to say a huge thank you from myself and all the challengers for the great day they had this weekend, and the hard work you put in to making the project happen. It really sounded like the challengers got a lot out of it.
