New Donation Centre now open

South Ribble Enterprise Park, Grove Rd,

behind the Bridge Inn, (off London Rd) Walton le Dale.

This is where the general public can drive in, drop off their donations then drive off.

Avoiding all the hassle of parking outside the charity shop and volunteers having to handle heavy bags.

Please donate your clothing, all textiles, shoes, books, mobile phones and ink cartridges.

Sorry no bric a brac or toys.

Once received the goods will be sorted and shipped off to the relevant Hospice Shop.

All non saleable items will be recycled.

So if you are having a sort out, think green and recycle to the donation centre.

All textiles accepted (even torn and pilled items as we get money for rag).

Charity Shops

We now have 11 charity shops, together with etrading and eBay raising much needed funds for the Hospice. Our shops provide a focal point for many of our supporters, or for those who have become personally involved with the Hospice.

The shops are places to pop into where friendships are formed, you'll get a warm welcome as well as a bargain!

Five of the shops sell good quality (sometimes new) donated clothing, bric a brac, books and other items at greatly reduced prices. You'll be surprised!

We have several specialist shops and other retail activities:

• Gift Shop, selling confectionery, hand crafted cards and gifts, new goods, silver jewellery, photo frames etc
• Book Shops, selling books, CDs and Videos.
• Wedding Shop, beautiful dresses for Brides to be, Bridesmaids, Mother of the Bride (Bridegroom) Hats for Hire and Silver Jewellery.
• Furniture shop, selling good quality donated furniture from antique to new. Showroom displays.
• eBay trading, auctioning collectables, books, cell phones and many interesting articles. check out sellers name stcatherineshospice
• on line shop, selling christmas cards and calendars
• Mail order service for Christmas cards and personalised overprinting service

We are so grateful to all those who continue to donate furniture, clothing, homewares and bric a brac but due to the restrictions imposed on waste and our duty of care in ensuring that waste is removed safely , we ask you to please make sure that all your donations are in good condition, not broken and meet with Trading Standards compliance.

St Catherine’s Hospice relies on voluntary funding, this year we have to raise over £2.6 million.Guaranteed income from the Trading Company is therefore vital and enables enabling us to provide the highest levels of care to those in need in the Chorley , Longridge, Preston and South Ribble areas.
