Become a Volunteer

St Catherine’s is a centre of excellence for palliative care which means we invest in the best people and equipment to improve the quality of life of people with life limiting illnesses but this would be completely unachievable without our wonderful volunteers.

St. Catherine’s Hospice would not exist without the support it receives from volunteers.

Volunteers are:

  • at the heart of the Hospice and are essential to the services that we provide
  • wonderfully flexible in their availability, bringing a rich variety of skills and perhaps more importantly their time, saving the Hospice thousands of pounds and making higher standards achievable.

We know more than most, that TIME is so precious and it would be wonderful if you could share some of your time to help others 'when they need it most'?

Our volunteers do all sorts of things so don't think that St Catherine's isn't for you.  Some help at events, in shops, through craft work and in administrative functions as well as more directly to support patients. Just a few hours can make such a difference and of course training will be provided whenever necessary.  If you want to know more, look at the downloads below or phone or email us: recruitment@stcatherines.co.uk 01772-629171.
