REGISTERED NURSES – NIGHTS
£16.74 per hour plus £33.46 per 11.25 hour shift
We are looking to recruit registered nurses to work on the nurse bank for the In-Patient Unit (nights).
Are you between jobs currently and looking for a new role to support your work/life balance? Have you recently retired and have skills and expertise to share? Would you like to gain experience of caring for patients with a life limiting illness? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, you could be the person we are looking for.
At St Catherine’s our philosophy is to support all staff and successful candidates will be provided with a full induction and education programme. We are a forward thinking hospice and induction will include training for our e-prescribing system and recording care plans. Recognising new bank staff will need to consolidate their learning and time to understand how care is delivered on the unit we ask for a minimum commitment of 1-2 shifts per month. There also needs to be an understanding that bank work is ad hoc and the number of shifts each month above the stated minimum, cannot be guaranteed.
In return for our investment in you, we are looking for:
• A minimum 12 month commitment.
• Flexibility to work week days and weekends.
• Staff to work nights.
• Provide monthly availability and be able to work shifts at short notice.
