Clinical Administration Manager and PA to Medical Director

Would you like to use your expertise to work towards a shared aim of helping those in our community to have a quality of life until the end of life? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team.

The successful candidate will manage the well-established clinical administration team, whose work and responsibilities are broad, whilst also providing personal assistant support to the Medical Director and their associated responsibilities.  In addition the post holder will support the Director of Governance, Nursing and AHPs in governance and reporting responsibilities.  Duties will involve the use of SystmOne (our electronic patient record system) for all medical secretary duties, and applicants will need to be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages.

We are looking for someone with experience ideally gained within a clinical administration environment together with experience of managing or supervising a team.  As well as excellent PA skills we are looking for someone who is exceptionally organised, flexible and with a real passion for leading their team.  Equally as important to the requirements of the role is a commitment to the values of the hospice; caring, compassionate and committed.
