Introduction to Hospice Care – for all (March)

We know through our experience of caring for patients with life-shortening conditions and their families that there are still many myths that exist about what kind of places hospices are and the kind of services they deliver.

This session aims to dispel some of the misconceptions that surround hospices, and raise awareness of the reality of hospice care and the difference it can make.

What will I learn?

  • How the hospice movement and St Catherine’s started
  • Our charity and how we raise funds
  • Our services
  • How to be referred
  • A day in the life of…
  • Job and volunteering opportunities
