We are always delighted to hear from businesses who would like to support St Catherine’s Hospice. We want you and your customers to enjoy the experience of helping St Catherine’s, and will do everything we can to make it as fun and successful as possible.

Charity of the Year

Choosing St Catherine’s Hospice as your company’s Charity of the Year is a great way to promote corporate social responsibility and focus your staff on one objective in the name of a much-loved local charity.

Our fundraisers will be on hand to guide and support your team, offering information, ideas and advice at every step of the way.

Sponsor an Event

Boost your brand while showing your support by sponsoring a St Catherine’s Hospice event.

We organise a variety of different things throughout the year which attract thousands of people.

By sponsoring the event, or a certain element of it, you can show off your relationship with a much-loved local charity, and reach out to scores of new customers through collateral such as newsletters, website copy, leaflets, posters, banners, T-shirts and press releases.

Take Part in or Volunteer at an Event

Whether you fancy jumping out of a plane, walking a half marathon by moonlight or manning tombola stall at our garden fete, we’ve got plenty of exciting events for you to take part in or help out at.

Signing up to support St Catherine’s alongside your colleagues is great for team-building and boosts morale, fitness and wellbeing. You can share tips and advice about training or fundraising, or perhaps even get a bit competitive and see who can raise the most or run the fastest!

Host an Event or Set Your Team a Challenge

Instead of signing up to one of our events, you could organise one of your own. We’ve got an A-Z of ideas you can access here so see what appeals to you and your team!

You might already have a particular event or challenge in mind to set your colleagues – as long as it’s safe and legal, we don’t mind! Just get in touch and we’ll see how we can help you turn your idea into a successful fundraising campaign, which not only generates important cash for St Catherine’s, but is fun and fulfilling for you too.

Consider Match Funding

Why not reward the efforts of your employees by match funding whatever they raise through a donation from the company?

It’s guaranteed to give spur them on and give them extra motivation to succeed, plus it’s an extra way of meeting your corporate social responsibility targets whilst showing your support for an important local charity.

Give Your Skills

Volunteering your time or skills to St Catherine’s is another useful way your company can support St Catherine’s Hospice.

A fantastic example of this is our Wills Week each November, when local solicitors waive their usual will-writing fees and give their time for free in return for a donation to the hospice.

For every used printer ink cartridge donated to the Hospice for recycling, St Catherine’s receives a donation through the ReclaimIt scheme.

We also welcome donations of unwanted mobile phones which can be taken to our Donation Centre within the hospice grounds. All devices are cleansed of data and a certificate can be provided.

Your team could also host a Donation Day – where staff are invited to take their pre-loved goods into work which can then be sold in our shops or recycled.
