Fundraising YOURYOUR way! way! Pupils at Penwortham Primary School
organised a sponsored silence and
donated an incredible £885

Our Donation Centre volunteer Peter Lomax Danni Taylor hula-
climbed the height of Mount Everest twice, hooped for an hour a
on his stairs at home and around his local day for a whole week
area when lockdown restrictions were lifted, in her garden and
raising an amazing £896.38 in sponsorship donated a wonderful
£2,270

11-year-old Chloe
Gornall challenged
herself to scoot and
cycle 100km in seven
days, and raised a
fantastic £1,400

Ryan Wood raised more than £2,000 through sponsors
when his long locks were shaved off, in honour of his The Rock Choir donated a fabulous £1,600
mum who was cared for by St Catherine’s. He said: “My after hosting a virtual quiz with an ABBA
hair represented the battle me and my mum went through fancy dress theme
- as it was around the time that she first found out she
had bowel cancer that I started growing it, so I was sad
and happy to finally let it go”
Rob Whaley kindly
contributed the usual cost
of his commute whilst he
was working from home

Our volunteer Brian Preece
cycled five circuits of the
Preston Guild Wheel and
generated an excellent £570

Nine-year-old Louie completed
a sponsored Lego Marathon
and donated a marvellous
£340 Stuart Richards and Mick
Appleby took part in the first ever
UK Tuk Tuk Challenge with
a 350-mile rally around Wales,
raising a tremendous £367
Bowker Transport Group
used The Mill’s Click and
Collect service to treat their
staff to Afternoon Tea
Karen Oakley raised £141.90 by
selling plants in her garden in
memory of her loved ones and to
thank the hospice for the care
provided

Daredevil Ian Brown took to the skies
and braved an exciting wing-walk,
generating a terrific £690
