Caring for carers
Helping carers feel supported
Caring for someone you love can be incredibly rewarding, but it can
also be extremely demanding. Cheryl Scott, Support Team Manager at
St Catherine’s, explains: “Carers give so much of themselves.
It’s important they feel supported too.”
Cheryl has supported people navigating the emotional
and practical pressures of caring. She recognises how vital
it is for carers to feel valued and supported. Here, she shares
her advice on looking after yourself while caring for others.
