In 2015 St Catherine’s Hospice marked its 30th anniversary and three decades of providing specialised care and support to those affected by life-shortening conditions in our community. We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who joined in and marked this special milestone with us!
We enjoyed 12 months of celebrations with our community which also raised vital funds to continue our work important for another 30 years, and beyond.
Events covered everything from a bling-tastic Bollywood Night to a glittering 30th anniversary ball, along with our extra special Moonlight and Memories Walk and the spectacular Symphony at the Tower with Status Quo, Blake and Lucy Kay.
Check out all the fabulous photos from our events throughout the year by clicking here – can you spot your face among the crowds?
We were also overwhelmed by the response we received to our 30th anniversary Give A Gift campaign, run in conjunction with the Lancashire Evening Post and the Chorley/Leyland Guardian. We had 30 different ‘gifts’ we were working to achieve, representing the 30 years we have been open. Most of them have now been achieved – click here to see how you helped to make a difference, and to find out more about the remaining items we’re still working towards.
St Catherine’s is your local charity – inspired, created and driven by local people. We simply can’t do what we do without you, so THANK YOU again for your incredible support!
