People and Organisational Development Manager
Location: St Catherine’s Hospice, Lostock Hall, Preston (Hybrid working available) Salary: £39,500 per annum (37.5 hours per week) Department: People Team

A rare opportunity has arisen and we are seeking a People and Organisational Development Manager to lead our People Team and drive initiatives that make a real difference. This role is key to promoting a culture of where everyone feels valued, appreciated, listened to, supported and developed.
What you’ll do:
· Lead the People Team to deliver a professional values driven service
· Business Partner with managers and provide expert, professional advice and coaching on the full range of employment matters
· Manage employee relations casework and promote early resolution.
· Support/Lead on projects that include Wellbeing, Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity, Recruitment and Continuous Improvement.
· Oversee recruitment of staff and volunteers.
· Ensure compliance with employment legislation and CQC requirements.
What we’re looking for:
· Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience.
· CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent (Level 7 desirable).
· Significant experience of advising on complex People issues.
· Strong knowledge of employment legislation.
· Excellent communication and influencing skills.
· Ability to manage projects and work independently.
· A values driven person who leads by example
