Shop Manager – Chorley Shop

37.5 Hours per week

£27,100 per annum 

We are delighted to announce that we will be opening a new store in the heart of Chorley Town Centre in the old Post Office and we are looking for a Store Manager to head up this fantastic new venture.

The successful applicant, needs to be experienced in retail and enthusiastic with a can do attitude. Visual merchandising, product placement and developing external events will be the focus of the manager who will also be responsible for managing an assistant manager, a supervisor and a team of volunteers. You will also be part of a wider team, where support, communication and teamwork is the key to success.

The shop, which will stock clothing, books, furniture and general merchandise will trade for 7 days a week from opening. You will manage the shop, working 7.5 hours a day with the flexibility of working 5 days out of 7 which includes weekends and bank holidays.

As the retail team at St Catherine’s Hospice goes from strength to strength, we are on the hunt for the best talent to ensure we keep on improving for the benefit of our patients and families.

Our charity shops not only raise much-needed funds, they are also a busy hub in the community – attracting regular customers and donors who wish to support the work of the hospice.

This position is subject to a DBS check.

All candidates must be able to demonstrate they are eligible to work in the UK.
