Mill Advisor

Our compassionate team of trained volunteer advisors support visitors to The Mill cafe and community hub who might benefit from sign-posting to information and advice around serious illness or bereavement, or would simply like a friendly face and a listening ear to chat things over with.

Whilst enjoying a meal or drink in our cafe, visitors can meet with the advisors and access information via iPads and other materials. The volunteer advisors work closely with The Mill supervisor and show customers to their table with a menu.

This is a very rewarding role, for which training is provided.
