Allied Lighting set to take to the golf course for St Catherine’s!

A group of colleagues from a local lighting firm will be swinging into action at a charity golf day raising funds for St Catherine’s Hospice.

Taking place on September 9th at Preston Golf Course, 72 colleagues from Allied Lighting Limited North will be participating on the day.

The event is a welcome boost for the hospice’s 30th anniversary Give A Gift appeal – which highlights 30 ways people can get behind St Catherine’s during 2015. One of the ‘gifts’ on the list is to have 30 new businesses pledging their support during 2015.

The golf day will consist of a four ball team competition and prizes will be awarded for the longest drive and nearest pin.

Phil Griffiths, Key Account Manager, Allied Lighting said: “I’ve previously taken part in events for St Catherine’s Hospice to raise money. St Catherine’s is a really good local charity in need of support from the public.

“We chose to organise the Golf Day because we feel it is right for our clients. We are keen golfers too.”
