Amazing night at Mayor’s Ball

St Catherine’s Hospice have said a huge thank you to everyone who made the 2015 Mayor’s Ball such a special evening!

Mayor and Mayoress Nick and Barbara Pomfret hosted the Black Tie and Diamonds event at the Guild Hall.

Guests were treated to a delicious meal and took part in a raffle and auction which raised further vital funds. Entertainment was provided by the Phoenix Wind Quartet and followed up with The Soul Convicts – who had everyone up dancing.

In total the ball – when put with match funding secured by Barclays Preston who supported the event – raised an amazing £9,226.

It was the final event in a busy programme organised by the Mayor and Mayoress in support of St Catherine’s. Other fundraisers included a motown night, quiz night and Carols in the Chamber.
