Bikers’ club hands over £1,000 to St Catherine’s Hospice

Members of a motorcycle clubbased in Leylandgot on their bikes to deliver the money they had raised for St Catherine’s to the hospice.

Millennium 2000 BC raised a grand total of £1,000 for the hospice through musical rock nights and various raffles over the past 12 months.
The club, which currently has 27 members, are regular supporters of the hospice – having organised fundraisers in aid of the charity for several years.
Member Herr Flick said: “As a local club we are very keen to support a local charity working in the local community.
“St Catherine’s does amazing work – some of us have had friends who have been cared for there, and others have family who have experienced it. We are very happy to show our support and it was great to come to the hospice to hand over the proceeds.”
