BLOG: Furniture edit – Why retro style never gets tired

Authentic, well designed period pieces are always desirable and can be snapped up for a steal if you’re in the right place at the right time.

At our charity shops, you can find a gem for less and bring it home, knowing your purchase is giving furniture a second life and helping us support those who need it most.  

Our Furniture Manager, Alison Evans, says: “I love seeing the variety of items that come through our doors. Our Leyland, Chorley, City and The Mill shops are full of unique, pre-loved finds, from retro and mid-century gems to contemporary pieces, all waiting for a new home.” 

Here are some of Alison’s favourite finds from our new Chorley shop, the old Post Office on Cleveland Street, which opened on the 11th September (items are subject to availability).
