Choir hits high note in fundraising drive for St Catherine’s
A Preston-based choir who picked St Catherine’s Hospice as their charity of choice have raised a fantastic £3,000 over the last 18 months.
Harmony Singers have held several concerts to support of the work of local charities and to show their appreciation for the work they carry out in the community.
Ellis Green, Chairman of Harmony Singers, said: “St Catherine’s Hospice is our charity of choice as many of us have experienced first-hand the work of the hospice.
“We plan to continue to support St Catherine’s, as we feel that the care they provide to people in the local community is second to none.
“They do an absolutely brilliant job!”
And the choir’s efforts for St Catherine’s have not ended yet – with another in aid of the hospice due to take place on Saturday 1st June 2013 at St Michael and All Angels Church, Ashton from 7.30pm.

The money raised will allow St Catherine’s Hospice to continue providing specialised palliative care to the people of Chorley, Longridge, Preston and South Ribble who are living with conditions that can be treated but not cured.
