Construction company donates more than £1,500 to the hospice
Employees at VolkerStevin, a Preston based construction contractor located at Preston City Park , have shown their support for St Catherine’s Hospice through a series of dress-down days which raised more than £1,500 for the hospice.
Employees at VolkerStevin paid £1 for the privilege of dressing down one day each month over the last three years. All funds raised will go towards supporting the specialised care of the hospice.
Rob Coupe, managing director at VolkerStevin, said: “We are thrilled to have raised this amount of money for St Catherine’s Hospice, a worthy charity whose care makes such a difference to the lives of local people.”
