Danielle enjoys Christmas visit to St Catherine’s

Caring Danielle Clare visited day therapy at St Catherine’s Hospice this Christmas – armed with gorgeous gifts for the patients.

Danielle’s granddad had received care from the hospice, prompting her to arrange the visit.

She joined in with one of the unit’s special festive parties organised in the run-up to the festivities. She also gave out gifts to the patients who were there on the day.

Danielle, who has now applied to become a volunteer with the charity, said: “I really had a wonderful day. I’d like to say thank you to all the staff for making me feel so welcome and a huge thank you to the patients for making the day so special! I hope the they had a great day too.

“I’m really looking forward to returning to the hospice again soon.”
