Dedicate a candle on our Christmas tree in St George’s shopping centre

Shoppers are invited to remember loved ones who will be missing from our festive celebrations this year by dedicating a candle in their honour on the St George’s shopping centre Light Up A Life Christmas tree.
The tree is organised by St Catherine’s Hospice each year as an opportunity for local people to remember their dearly departed relatives and friends over the Christmas period.

Dedications are welcome in memory of everyone – not just those who have experienced the care of St Catherine’s Hospice – and can be made throughout December at the site of the Christmas tree opposite customer services.
All funds raised through donations will go towards funding the specialised care St Catherine’s Hospice provides to those affected by life-limiting illnesses in the local community.
The opening hours are:
Monday December 9th to Friday December 13th: 10am – 4pm
Saturday December 14th: 10am – 4pm
Sunday December 15th: Closed
Monday December 16th to Friday December 20th: 10am – 6pm
Saturday December 21nd – Monday December 23rd: 10am – 4pm
Christmas Eve: 10am – 1pm
Emma Jacovelli, fundraiser at St Catherine’s Hospice, said: “The St George’s Christmas tree gives people a chance to remember those special to them at Christmas time – all while showing their support for a much-loved local charity.”
