Enjoy a fabulous night out at the St Catherine’s Masquerade Summer Ball
St Catherine’s Hospice is hosting a glamorous Masquerade Summer Ball inside its stunning garden marquee on Saturday 29th June, featuring amazing live entertainment, a brilliant charity auction and more.
Supporters are encouraged to dress to the nines and enjoy a fabulous night out in aid of St Catherine’s, which cares for people with life-shortening illnesses at the hospice and in their own homes.
The Masquerade Summer Ball, set in the beautiful setting of St Catherine’s Park in Lostock Hall, includes a drinks reception on the lawn, a delicious three-course dinner served up by The Mill Outside – the catering service of the charity’s onsite social enterprise café, The Mill – live music from the band Boomin’, and a charity raffle and auction with top class prizes.
The fantastic fundraising event is this year sponsored by the Budweiser Brewing Group. A spokesperson said: “As part of our on-going commitment to supporting the community, we are proud to sponsor St Catherine’s and the Masquerade Summer Ball.
“The valuable work of St Catherine’s affects the lives of many, and we hope that our sponsorship empowers them to be able to grow and develop their services.”
Emma Jacovelli, head of community engagement at St Catherine’s Hospice, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to the Budweiser Brewing Group for their wonderful support of this summer’s ball, which promises to be an amazing fundraiser for our cause.
“The hospice depends on the generosity of our amazing supporters to raise £3.8m of its annual £5.6m running costs, so we’re looking forward to welcoming our communities to our ball to show them a brilliant night out, whilst raising vital funds so that we can continue to provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care to local people.”
