Goodwill gesture from Southlands High School

Pupils at Southlands high school donated nine Christmas hampers to St Catherine’s Hospice.

The lovely gesture was made last week as school children handed over the Christmas goodies to patients on the in-patient unit and at Day Therapy.

Senior fundraiser Norman Cutler said: “It’s great to see our supporters coming up with new innovative ways for our patients at Christmas.

“A big thank you to Southlands High school and all of the staff and pupils that contributed to the lovely idea.”
