Leyland based agricultural company supports St Catherine’s Hospice

A family-run agricultural contracting company is supporting St Catherine’s Hospice through sales of their 2018 calendar.

D&C Wrennall, based in Leyland, offer all aspects of agricultural work in addition to the onsite workshop.

This year, they have decided to support the hospice with sales from their new calendar.

Sara Bentham, office administrator at D&C Wrennall said: “We decided to support St Catherine’s this year because we feel it’s a charity close to many people’s hearts.

“The people who buy the calendars might not necessarily know someone who has been cared for by the hospice, but the majority of people know somebody who has been affected by life-shortening illnesses.”

St Catherine’s fundraising officer, Hayley Jackson, said: “We’re extremely grateful to D&C Wrennall’ for choosing to support St Catherine’s with the sales of their new 2018 calendar. The continued support from people and businesses in the local community means we’re able to continue providing specialised palliative and end-of-life care to people across Central Lancashire.”
