Leyland Trucks’ Helping Hands appeal makes donation to the hospice

Leyland Trucks donated £700 to St Catherine’s Hospice as part of their annual Helping Hands appeal.

The money is collected each year through the generosity of big-hearted staff with support from the firm.

The latest donation marks an amazing 21 years of supporting St Catherine’s Hospice!

Earlier in December the firm went the extra mile for St Catherine’s by allowing the hospice to use their car park for the park and ride shuttle buses serving their fantastic Christmas Festival within the hospice grounds.

Lynne Whittaker, senior fundraiser at St Catherine’s who attended at the factor to receive the cheque, said: “We’re so grateful for the fantastic support we have received over the years from Leyland Trucks and in particular over the past 12 months.”
