Shiver me timbers! Huntleys to host pirate themed fun day to raise funds
A pirate-themed family fun day will be held at Huntley’s Country Stores this Bank Holiday weekend to celebrate the opening of their new pirate ship attraction.
The event on Saturday August 30th will raise funds for St Catherine’s Hospice, Derian House Children’s Hospice and Art with a Heart.
Attractions on the day will include a treasure hunt, teddy tombola, face painting, balloon modelling and a fancy dress competition for all the little pirates and princesses. Peter Pan and Tinkerbell will be the special guests between 3pm and 5pm, followed by live music from 4pm until 6pm.
From a tasty barbecue and bellini tasting, to king prawns and Prosecco, there’ll be plenty on offer for adults too. The St Catherine’s Hospice Lottery will also be setting up their stall in a bid to attract new members.
The day runs from 11am until 7pm at the store in Whalley Road, Preston, PR5 0UN.
