Show off your silly seasonal wear for St Catherine’s Hospice
The weather outside is frightful – so it’s time to get wrapped up warm in your favourite Christmas jumper in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice.
The charity is launching its first Christmas Jumper Day appeal to coincide with the nationwide campaign, which sees people don seasonal sweaters, knitted novelties, Santa suits and more to support a worthy cause.
Staff at the hospice have been getting into the festive spirit and reaching into their wardrobes as they encourage supporters to choose St Catherine’s this Christmas Jumper Day – Friday, December 16.
Hospice fundraiser Emma Jacovelli said: “We’re calling on school friends, work mates, families, friends and community groups to get on board with our first ever Christmas Jumper appeal.
“Everyone loves showing off their silly seasonal wear, and it’s a great excuse to have a laugh with friends and make a donation to a much-loved local charity in the process.
“Everyone taking part will receive a fun fundraising pack from us with lots of top tips and ideas for making the most of the day, from introducing bake sales to sharing photos with us on social media. Everyone taking part will also get a special badge.”
