Spooktacular night at Halloween quiz!
The annual St Catherine’s Hospice Halloween Quiz night was a spooktacular success – raising £500 for patient care.
Supporters turned out for the event at Fox Lane Sports and Social Club in Leyland which saw teams go up against each other in a variety of rounds including music, sport and general knowledge.
Team ‘Educationally Challenged’ were crowned the winners, while Molly Bryan won the coveted title of Best Fancy Dress for her scary vampire ensemble.
Compere and quiz master Ian Routh, a regular at hospice events, was on form as a super scary Dracula who got the contestants in the ‘spirit’.
Norman Cutler, senior fundraiser at St Catherine’s, said: “What another fantastic quiz night for St Catherine’s!
“Everyone had a great time with lots of friendly banter and it was brilliant to see the effort some people had gone to with their costumes. Most importantly of all, the event raised vital funds to support the care of St Catherine’s.
“A big thank you goes to everyone involved.”
