Staff got on their bikes in memory of colleague.

Staff from a Lancashire bakery firm went the distance in a charity bike ride in memory of one of their colleagues.

A team from Bako North Western took part in the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride earlier this year and raise an incredible £1,767 for St Catherine’s Hospice.
The company then generously matched the amount they had gathered in sponsorship – making a grand total of £3,534.
They took part in the 60-mile ride in memory of a late colleague who had received care from St Catherine’s.
Some of the group visited the hospice at Lostock Hall to hand over the cheque, which was gratefully received by senior fundraiser Lynn Whittaker.
