Strike a pose! Photo shoot afternoon boosts hospice funds

A St Catherine’s supporter organised a glamorous photo shoot in the comfort of her living room which helped raise funds for the hospice.

Following a successful pamper afternoon earlier this year, Susie Hughes decided to gather her friends Juliet, Elvi, Vivienne and Karen together again in the name of a good cause.

This time they had fun doing each other’s hair and make-up, before student Nikita Schaap took a series of professional photographs – turning the lounge into an impromptu studio!
In total the event raised £50 to support the care of St Catherine’s.

Susie said: “Everyone dressed in various outfits, from evening wear and smart casual through to burlesque and fur coats.

“Nikita borrowed professional flash and umbrellas and the afternoon was full of fun. It was a truly uplifting experience, all in the name of a great cause.”
