Strike a pose!

Ladies received some inspiration for their spring wardrobes at a fashion show held in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice.

Carol Robinson, Lady Captain of Leyland Golf Club, organised the event as part of her commitment to the hospice – which she has picked to be her charity of the year during her term of office.

The show, held at the club, featured fashions from Guest Boutique in Leyland whose fantastic frocks went down well with the guests gathered.

Carol’s husband Rob – current Captain at the club – is also fundraising for St Catherine’s this year.

Rob’s main event of the year will be his Captain’s Charity Golf Day on June 25th. Teams of four are invited to compete in the day, before enjoying a meal, entertainment and auction at the club into the evening.

Other events throughout the year will be the Company Classic competition, hog roast party and Lady Captain’s Golf Day, all in August, as well as the Lady Captain’s Charity Day in September, and various raffles throughout the year.
