Students sang their hearts out entertaining shoppers for St Catherine’s
Classmates donned festive hats for carol concert in their local supermarket which raised funds for St Catherine’s Hospice.
The pupils from Lancaster Lane Primary School in Leyland serenaded shoppers with traditional carols to get them in the Christmas spirit and collected donations in return.
It is one of several creative ways children across Chorley, Preston and South Ribble have been raising funds for St Catherine’s in the run-up to Christmas.
Senior fundraiser Norman Cutler said: “The carol concert was another fantastic idea and the children looked great dressed up in their festive gear – they couldn’t fail to put a smile on shoppers’ faces!
“We’d like to say a big thank you for their support at this special time of year.”
