The Mill’s Christmas opening times and January closure

See details of The Mill cafe’s festive opening dates and January closure.

The Mill café and community hub is serving up a host of festive food throughout December, including Christmas Afternoon Tea and Christmas dinners, as well as a range of delicious hot and cold lunches, tasty breakfasts, cakes and more.

The café is open as normal from 9am until 5pm most days in December, apart from the following dates:

Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve – open until 1pm serving all-day breakfast (booking is recommended)

Christmas Day and Boxing Day – closed

The Mill will also be shut on New Year’s Day and will then remain closed for around six weeks to allow for the most disruptive part of the café’s exciting development work to take place. We will post updates on our websites and social media when we have a confirmed opening date for our newly extended café and community hub.

The Mill Outside catering service will continue to operate whilst the café is closed, bringing a taste of The Mill into the community and to your special events.

The extension will provide additional seating in the café to meet demand, as we often have to turn customers away during peak times when tables are fully booked, and will also provide a space that can be hired out during the day and evenings for parties and other private functions.
