WANTED: Talented rising stars to win cash for St Catherine’s

If you’ve got a talent – to sing or dance or play a musical instrument – St Catherine’s needs you to step into the spotlight to win a share of £3,000 by performing on our behalf in the Charity Stars competition organised by Furness Building Society with The Bay Radio.

To enter Charity Stars, simply record your video on a mobile phone, tablet, camera or computer, then visit www.furnessbs.co.uk/charitystars or www.thebay.co.uk/promotions/charity-stars to upload your recording. The closing date for entries is December 6th 2015.

You could win a share of the £3,000 in prizes for your local hospice, and the ultimate winner will also get chance to be a ‘Star for a Day at The Bay’ with a VIP recording session – which could put you on the road to fame and fortune!

The competition is organised by Furness Building Society as part of its support for local charities. Video clips will appear on YouTube and Charity Stars pages, and on the internet pages of the competition’s media partners. The sooner you enter, the longer your video will stay live on the web, and the more awareness you can create for St Catherine’s!

Twelve acts will be selected by a panel of judges to appear in the live final at the Lancaster Grand Theatre on January 30th 2016. Another two will be selected by The Bay audience to appear in the final as ‘wild card’ entries.

Every charity represented by a finalist will receive at least £100, the winner will get £1000, with prizes of £750 and £500 for charities represented by the runners-up.
