Winter Wonderland night in memory of Dad
Twofriends are preparing to host their second charity bash which promises to be a night to remember!
Janine Noblett, manager of The Yoga Place North, andKathryn Hindel, owner of Bodywise Beauty Studio, have teamed up to organise the Winter Wonderland event to raise funds for two local charities.
The night will include special guest appearances from Robbie Williams and Lady Gaga tribute acts, who promise to have guests up on their feet singing and dancing, as well as a race night and hot supper.
Money raised will go to St Catherine’s Hospice – a charity Janine wanted to support after her father lost his battle against cancer in December 2010, just three months after being diagnosed.
She said: “The care provided to my dad in his last days was just fantastic. It really opened my eyes up to see the work that both the staff and volunteers carry out.
“Unless you’ve been in touch with the hospice for a reason and have actually been in to see it, you might not realise how much they do for people in the community. The hospice needs all the support it can get.”
Last year the event raised a total of £5,000 for two local charities and was so popular with guests that Janine and Kathryn decided to organise it again. Money raised on the night will be split between St Catherine’s Hospice and Bolton Hospice.
Other attractions willinclude a raffle featuring a host of amazing prizes, and the chance to dance the night away at a late night disco.
The event will be held on Saturday 17th November 2012 from 7.30pm at Adlington Community Centre, Railyway Road, Adlington, PR7 4EH.
Tickets can be purchased from Bodywise Beauty Studio or The Yogaplace North for £15 with the option of reserving tables of 10.
