Light Up A Life dedication evening – Monday
Everyone is welcome to our Light Up A Life remembrance evenings, which provide a poignant opportunity to bring people together to honour our loved ones.
The dedication evenings will take place on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th December from 5.30pm, and will include music, readings, refreshments, and opportunities for remembrance. The beautiful lights, shining brightly in tribute to those who are dearly missed, will be switched on at 6.30pm on both evenings.
Our reception volunteer Linda Baldwin says: “The Light Up A Life evenings are emotional but also uplifting. Everyone comes together with a shared purpose to celebrate the lives of people we have lost, and to see the beautiful lights symbolising what they mean to us. Of course we think about the people we miss all year round, but the Christmas period is a poignant time when families gather and our loved ones are in our thoughts as we mark the festive season in our own ways.”
When you make a Light Up A Life dedication, your loved ones’ names will be written in our Light Up A Life remembrance book, and you will receive a personalised card to display at home. Dedications are welcome in memory of everyone, and the lights will shine brightly in our grounds throughout the festive season.
