Recruitment Evening – Home Nursing Assistants

We’re recruiting more Home Nursing Assistants to our amazing Hospice at Home team.

Come along to our Recruitment Evening to find out more about this rewarding role – all welcome!

The role of the Home Nursing Assistants involves providing hands-on care and emotional support to patients and their families under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Health and social care qualifications are not essential, as substantial training will be provided by St Catherine’s. Successful candidates will work alongside a Home Nursing Assistant colleague during each home visit, and will report to a qualified team leader.

Home Nursing Assistants will provide assistance with personal hygiene, mouth care, pressure area care and positioning, whilst the district nursing team will remain responsible for the administration and management of medications and other clinical needs.
