Story
Arthur was larger than life. Kind and full of mischief, he was much loved by family and friends.
Although Arthur suffered in his later years, losing the use of his legs, he rarely complained. He remained interested in the lives of those around him and enjoyed talking with his visitors. His stories will live on through all who knew him.
The kindness and support shown by St Catherine’s Hospice in Arthur’s final days meant so much to him and his family. Their care made a world of difference to his comfort and dignity, allowing him to pass away peacefully at home.

What a lovely description of Arthur. He was always so kind and generous to me- including showing me the ways of Preston club and pub land! I know how much he’ll be missed by everyone close and dear to him. He was such a caring soul but with a devilish sense of humour. Thank you Arthur, so pleased to have known you, RIP. Anthony

You were always there for us and you will be sorely missed. You suffered in silence and never complained. We won’t forget you and now it’s time to rest in peace. xx
