Marilyn Brandwood-Spencer 1943 - 2025

To celebrate the life of my mum Marilyn Brandwood-Spencer we would love to raise as much money as possible for the amazing St Catherine’s Hospice who took such great care of my mum in her final days.
Marilyn was known around her village of Penwortham from her days working in O’Donnells chemist, but was perhaps best known from her many years on the stage all over the region. An amazing singer and actress, she had many lead roles for the Preston Musical Comedy Society, and at Preston Drama Club. In later years she became a director for shows across the county, in Preston, Blackpool and Adlington. Known for her attention to detail and absolute love of the theatre, she greatly encouraged the next generation and was an inspiration to myself and many others. She will be greatly missed by her husband David, her children and grandchildren, and the hundreds of friends she made over the years.
