Michael Duxbury 1957 - 2024

Michael was an amazing Partner, Father, Grandad and friend who passed on the 19th February 2024 at home with all family around him. His wishes were to pass at St. Catherine’s however he passes peacefully at home. Michael is so so deeply missed by all of us and I wanted to make this tribute page to keep Michaels memory and for more people to see and know him. Michael was born on the 21st February 1959 in Preston to Clifford and Margret Duxbury. Michael was raised in Australia but he also spent many years travelling all over the world, coming from a military family and when be also became a banquet chef. Michael did live a good part of his life in Australia before moving back to the UK with his Mum after his dad passed. Michael was a huge Preston North End game and a huge personality who was so easy to get along with and treasured his friends and family greatly. He was such a fighter through every battle of cancer and selflessly cared for everyone else before himself. Where ever he is we hope he knows how loved and missed he is and that he is safe and at peace
