Let’s Pay for A Day at St Catherine’s!
On 31st December 2022 Mum passed away at St Catherine’s Hospice. Mum had decided that she wanted her end-of-life care to be at the hospice. As a family […….and there are a lot of us!], we spent as much time as we could at the hospice and we were all blown away by the care, love and support Mum received and how the staff looked after us all too.
We want to leave a legacy and make a difference; we have set ourselves a challenge to raise enough money to run St Catherine’s Hospice for a day. The cost of running the hospice for a day is £11,500. We have a whole range of events in mind, and we will be sharing details with you as we plan and organise the events.

…….So far, we have a bingo night, a pub quiz, a sponsored hike, a charity football event, a dinner dance, a concert with All Saints Church Higher Walton, a half marathon and family kayaking/paddle boarding challenge, a pub crawl! and a ladies’ night at Hoghton Village Hall.
