❤️ A Tribute to a Life of Devotion ❤️

Our Nicky dedicated her entire life to caring for others.

As a midwife, she supported women through some of the most profound, beautiful and vulnerable moments of their lives. Assisting women to bring new life into the world and cared for countless women and families throughout her career.

Being a midwife was never simply a job to Nicky it was her vocation. Caring for others was at the very heart of her life. She spent two decades nurturing, protecting and supporting women, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and compassion that will never be forgotten.

When she needed care herself, the incredible team at St Catherine’s Hospice were there for her every step of the way.

They went above and beyond to provide her with outstanding, dignified and loving care.. They brought comfort to her when she needed it most, and supported our whole family with a kindness that we will never be able to fully put into words.

For that we will be forever grateful.

To honour our Mum’s/Nicky’s remarkable life and to give something back to the hospice that cared for her so beautifully, we will be raising money for St Catherine’s Hospice in her memory.

We will also be planning a sponsored run in Nicky’s memory, bringing together family, friends, colleagues and members of the community to celebrate her life and the incredible difference she made to so many people.

Whether you run, jog or simply walk alongside us, every step will be taken in Nicky’s memory and in support of other families who may one day need the care that meant so much to ours..

Details of the sponsored run/walk and how you can take part will be shared following the funeral.

For now, we simply want to celebrate Nicky, remember the incredible woman she was and say goodbye to someone who devoted her life to caring for others.

A loving Mum, Nana, Daughter, Sister and Auntie.
A cherished Friend.
And someone whose kindness touched more lives than she could ever have known.

We will carry her love, her kindness and her legacy with us always. ❤️
