Pauline Sharples - St Catherine's Hospice

Pauline Sharples 1946 - 2025

A tribute page created by Suzanne Parkinson

Story

My wonderful mum, Pauline, passed away on 16/06/2025 at St Catherine’s Bamber Bridge. I created this tribute page hoping that family and friends of Pauling can pay tribute or just share memories of her on here.

She was so deeply loved, appreciated and needed by us all and life has not been the same since she left. Pauline was at the core of our family and we miss her so dearly. We want to share her memory and create a space for us to go when needing a reminder of the joy she shared.

With only the short amount of time i had met Pauline, she still managed to fill my life with life long advice and memories. One those memories is how Pauline would never let you go hungry, by feeding us hot pot that could feed the 5000!
You will always be remembered.

I never got the privilege to meet Pauline but the way Steph talks about her all the time is just beautiful ! Pauline sounds like she was the most wonderful person anyone could have in their lives.
Rest easy lovely 🪽🪽

My grandma Pauline would always end a phone call or visit with with “goodnight, God bless”. Even right up to a few days before her death and she said “God bless” to me over FaceTime.

Something which I have continued in my own life🥀

A memory that has just popped into my mind today: the infamous video of my grandma Pauline stuck on a children’s slide at the park. I can be heard shouting “mamar stuck”. I clearly couldn’t pronounce grandma correctly just yet but I must have only been about 2 or 3. This is just an example of how she would do anything for those she loved.

My beloved Grandma, my best friend. I miss you so very much and it only seems to become more and more intense as the days go on.

I remember so much about you:
Your perfume.
Your laughter.
Your smile.
Your hugs.
The way you cared for me and loved me unconditionally.

I wish you was still here and I will love you forever. I can’t wait to tell my children and my grandchildren all about you.

Goodnight, God Bless. X
