Certificate of Excellence for Superior Service in The Mill!

A café which provides funds for St Catherine’s Hospice has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence from online review company TripAdvisor.

The Mill, which has been open for 18 months, has been recognised for ‘superior service’ after achieving numerous great reviews from members of the public. The Certificate of Excellence accounts for quality, quantity and most recent reviews submitted by visitors.

Nicola Hanmer, commercial catering manager, said: “We’re delighted to receive this award. All the staff and volunteers in the café provide a welcoming and friendly service for St Catherine’s patients, family members and the local community.

“I’m really proud of everyone for working so hard, and their efforts have been celebrated with this award.”

The Mill café provides a welcoming service to all visitors, offering wholesome dishes, barista style coffee – including St Catherine’s own coffee blend – homemade cakes, lighter bites, afternoon tea and a selection of alcoholic beverages.

Information and light-touch therapies in a relaxed environment are also available, tailored for those facing life-shortening illnesses.
