Circus with a purpose returns to Preston!
The Circus with a Purpose is returning to Preston!
On Monday September 22nd Circus Starr will be performing its show at Moor Park in Preston.
Over the past few months, local business have been generously supporting the show by buying tickets to the show that are now being donated to local children’s charities, support groups and special schools.
Any surplus funds raised will be donated to the hospice, the nominated partner charity for the Preston performances.
This year’s brand new show – which will be on stage at 4.45pm and 7pm – features hilarious antics from Nicolino the Clown as well as magnificent Chinese Pole and Aerial Strap performances from the fabulous Serik Brothers.
There will also be spectacular juggling and acrobatics from the Velenciuc Troupe, breath-taking knife balancing acts from Miss Lara and the graceful aerial skills of Victoria Boyko on the Corde Lisse.
Lorraine Charlesworth, Director of Income Generation at St Catherine’s, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen as Circus Starr’s charity partner again this year.
“We have been lucky to work with the organisation on several occasions in the past and know what a great experience it is for all the children and young people who attend. Any extra funds raised through the shows in Preston will be very gratefully received and used to help us provide our specialised care for people affected by life-shortening conditions in the local area.”
