Light Up a Life dedication evening – Monday 1st December 2025

Light Up a Life is a chance to honour your loved ones while supporting local families who rely on the care of St Catherine’s. We invite you to make a dedication to remember someone special.

The dedication evenings will take place on Sunday 30th and Monday 1st December from 5pm, and will include music, readings, refreshments, and opportunities for remembrance. You’ll also have the chance to light a candle, write a message for our remembrance tree, and watch as the beautiful lights are switched on at 6.30pm, in tribute to those who are dearly missed. 

When you make a dedication: 

• Their name will be included in our printed and online remembrance book. 
• You’ll receive a personalised card to keep and display at home. 
• Your gift will help ensure we can continue caring for people in the community.

Event schedule:

• 5:00pm | B&Q Carpark – Free shuttle bus, last collection 5.45pm
• 5:30pm | Music by North West Ambulance Service Choir & Brass Band
• 6:15pm | Ceremony begins
• 6:30pm | Light switch on
• 6:40pm | Ceremony ends
• 7:00pm | Shuttle bus back to B&Q resumes
